Dr. Paschalia Patsala is a Senior Lecturer in English Language and Linguistics. She served for four years (2014-18) the position of the Head of the Department, as well as the post of Faculty Manager of Accreditation Programme Review and Student Engagement working on areas related to Quality Assurance. In the past, Dr Patsala held several administrative positions in educational institutions, mainly as the Head of the English Language Department and as Local Manager of undergraduate programmes.

She has approx. 15 years of teaching experience in Higher Education, having taught in Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes of various European and American Universities (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, GR; Empire State College–State University of New York, USA; University of Greenwich, UK; University of Wales–Institute Cardiff, UK; Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch, Switzerland, etc.).

In addition to her engagement with education, Dr Paschalia Patsala has pursued a career as a lexicographer and editor, having participated in a number of dictionaries and volumes published by Greek and foreign publishing houses.

She is currently a Member of the European Association for Computational Linguistics (EACL), the Greek Applied Linguistics Association (GALA), the Hellenic Society for Terminology (ELETO), the Hellenic Association of American Studies (HelAAS), and TESOL Macedonia-Thrace, Greece.
