Mr. Mantzaris is a PhD candidate in the Department of American Literature and Culture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received his BA from the same department and obtained his Master’s of Arts at Uppsala University in Sweden, where he focused on American Literature and Culture. His PhD project is centered on the notion of visuality in contemporary fiction. The project is realized through supervision provided by Aristotle University, Uppsala University, and Nottingham Trent University. He spent the Spring of 2014 in Nottingham Trent University as a visiting research scholar, after receiving a scholarship from the Greek National Scholarship Foundation.
