Departmental Academic Board

The Departmental Academic Board is the primary committee at departmental level. The Academic Board:

• agrees and monitors the implementation of the Departmental strategies in Teaching, Learning and Assessment, Research and Innovation, External Engagement, Social Responsibility, etc.;
• reviews revised and new programme curricula prior to College LTC approval;
• discusses and reviews processes, procedures and policies of the Department;
• monitors (through the Departmental Learning, Teaching & Assessment subcommittee) the student experience, engagement, performance, progress and feedback, overall teaching, learning and assessment provision and quality assurance of all UG and PGT programmes of study offered by the Department.

The Academic Board is chaired by the Head of the Department and meets at least twice a semester. All full-time members as well as course administrators of the Department are members of this Academic Board.
