Dr Solomon delivers keynote speech at Triple Helix Forum in Kazakhstan

In his presentation Dr Solomon highlighted how European Commission funding can be used to develop sustainable triple helix ecosystems at the national level.

Turan University is taking a pioneering initiative in terms of facilitating triple helix co-creation in Kazakhstan through their Triple Helix Association Chapter. Dr Solomon commented: “This chapter extends the global efforts of Prof. Panayiotis Ketikidis, Vice Principal of CITY College International Faculty, Prof. Henry Etzkowitz, Senior Researcher, H-STAR Institute, Stanford University, Ms. Maria Laura Fornaci, Executive Director at Triple Helix Association Christiane Gebhardt, Mr Dimitri Corpakis, Senior Research Fellow SEERC, Graduate Faculty Member Florida AM University and Project Advisor in Brussels, Belgium and Prof Emanuela Todeva, Professor in International Business Strategy and Innovation in terms of breaking the barriers to innovation and technology transfer.”

Triple Helix Forum Kazakhstan featured a plenary session and thematic sessions and was well-attended academic and business professionals, experts, governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as students who showed great interest in this international forum dedicated to triple helix concept agenda.
