Celebrating our 30th Anniversary - 30 Years of CITY College!

2019 marks the 30th anniversary of CITY College’s foundation. Back in 1989 we were established with a mission “to maintain the highest standards of quality as an International Institution of Higher Education”. Since then we have been proud to empower more than 6,000 students from over 60 countries to transform their lives through learning and to support the development of societies and economies across the region and beyond.

The world in which we live has been transformed over the last 30 years and CITY College has also undergone significant growth and evolution. Throughout all of these changes, the commitment to our core mission has remained constant.

Message from Mr Yannis Ververidis
Principal of CITY College

Thirty years ago I could not have imagined that CITY College would be delivering programmes in eight countries and have more than 6,000 alumni from over 60 different nations. Through the dedication and professionalism of our exceptional staff we have created a higher education institution of which we must all be very proud. We have done so by sticking to our core mission to establish and maintain the highest possible standards and in so doing have helped to build capacity and support the academic and professional aspirations of our students and their communities.

As we reflect on the last 30 years, it is time to celebrate our achievements but also to look to the future to ensure that we continue to meet the demands of the contemporary world. We will do so by remaining true to our founding values and to our commitment to excellence in everything we do.
