The Principal of the International Faculty at the Higher Education Forum on Transnational Education (TNE) in Athens

Prince Charles of Wales honours the event with his persence

Mr. Ioannis Ververidis, Principal of the International Faculty CITY College participated as speaker at the Higher Education Forum on Transnational Education (TNE) that took place, on 10th May 2018 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens. Prince Charles of Wales honoured the reception of the event with his presence and met with the event’s participants, as part of his agenda during his visit in Athens.

Mr. Ioannis Ververidis, Principal of the International Faculty CITY College participated as speaker at the Higher Education Forum on Transnational Education (TNE)

Representing the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, Mr Ververidis shared his view on the event’s topic: ‘The Future of UK Higher Education in Greece after Brexit – Challenges, Opportunities and Prospects’. The event’s panel comprised TNE providers from Greece and the UK, as well as senior representatives from UK institutions and education policy makers and education experts who came together to discuss and exchange their views.

The forum was organised by the British Council and aimed at further strengthening educational connections between Greece and the UK, and facilitate collaborations.
