For another consecutive year, the University of Sheffield has been named one of the best universities in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2019 (released 6 June 2018), reaffirming its position as a leading global university for teaching and research.
QS 2019 rankings recognise the University as the 75th best university in the world, 22nd in Europe and 13th in the UK.
The QS World University Rankings are the world’s most highly-regarded international university rankings and provide a definitive guide to the world’s top universities.
President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sheffield, Professor Sir Keith Burnett, said: “We are delighted to see that the University of Sheffield has continued to be recognised as a world-leading institution and within the top 100 universities in the world”.
The University of Sheffield is the only Top 100 World University to offer its highly recognised degrees through its International Faculty CITY College, in South East and Eastern Europe as well as Caucasus region.
