Two undergraduate students from our Business Administration and Economics Department, namely, Bisera Serafimovska and Stefan Petkovski had the opportunity to participate in a Youth Exchange Programme in Israel, organised by the Rotary Clubs of Israel.
During the programme our students discovered another culture, developed leadership skills and experienced what it means to become a truly global citizen.
Bisera said: “This week was life-changing for me. The programme itself did not change my life, but the experiences I had after the programme did. That week I met with more than 100 international students that I had to connect with, and together we encountered different learning and growing activities both physically and mentally. Although I was exposed to evolving leaders throughout High School and University, for the first time I was challenged to consider what my leadership style would be, the different types of leadership I could try, and how I could use my skills assist to inspire others. I will always return to the insights I gained during the programme.”
The Youth Exchange Programme in Israel proved a truly international and educational experience for our students.
