Inspiring Seminar on Leadership by Prof. Psychogios in Bucharest

The International Faculty CITY College organised a very successful business seminar on leadership delivered by Professor Alexandros Psychogios, Lecturer at our Executive MBA programme and Professor of International HRM at Birmingham City University, Birmingham City Business School. The event took place 17 May 2018 at the Hilton Hotel

Prof. Psychogios Leadership Seminar, organised in the context of the Executive MBA programme delivered by the University of Sheffield International Faculty in Bucharest

Entitled ‘Brain Adaptive Leadership: Boost your leading and influencing capabilities’ the seminar was about understanding and developing new aspects of leadership in modern organisations. More specifically, with his presentation Prof Psychogios this seminar aimed to developing understanding of the various issues and practices that directly relate to the human behaviour in organisations. With references to Neuroscience, Behavioural science and modern Leadership approaches, the speaker explained that leadership is a balance between meeting needs for organisational integration and adapting to the internal and external contexts.

Participants had the opportunity to become acquainted with issues such as understanding leadership realities and implications, the perspective of Neuroscience and Behavioural Science as well as the brain adaptive leadership approach.

The event was well attended by managers, entrepreneurs and business professionals who had the opportunity to explore new business topics and practices and gain knowledge that can help in the creation of inspiring managers.

The seminar was organised in the context of the Executive MBA programme delivered by the University of Sheffield International Faculty in Bucharest.
