Digital marketing real-life project for the Hellenic Children’s Village by business students

Our business students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in digital marketing and at the same time give back to society with the real-life project they took with the Hellenic Children’s Village, a non-profitable organisation in Filiro, Thessaloniki.

Digital marketing real-life project for the Greek Children’s Village by The International Faculty CITY College business students

Dr Lappas with the group of our business students

Students will simulate a consulting project where they will be in contact with the management of the organisation and act as marketing consultants. For the needs of the project, representatives from the Greek Children’s Village will visit the International Faculty CITY College for consulting sessions and students will be provided with the opportunity to visit the Greek Children’s Village in Filyro and interact with its executives and children.

Once the project is completed the best two projects will be presented to the management of the organisation. When the digital strategy for 2018 is decided, students may contribute through fund raising activities to the implementation of the digital campaign.

This is the first real life, CSR-related project undertaken by the Business administration and Economics Department.  Our students will benefit both from gaining professional experience by engaging in this real-life project and offer support for a non-charitable organization through volunteer work.

Dr Alexios Lappas, Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist and Scientific Consultant at the Greek Children’s Village in Filyro commented: “I was more than happy to meet and cooperate with such a motivated group of students that engaged with the project! They demonstrated admirable empathy towards the issue of Child Protection and Care and we are looking forward to meet them on the premises of our Village for the second phase of the project.”

The project is overviewed by Mr Stelios Kehaghias, Senior Lecturer and Mr Alex Charalampidis, Lecturer at the Business Administration and Economics Department and is in line with the International Faculty’s committment to give back to society and educate its students accordingly.
