Maria-Araxi Sachpazian holds a BA in Education from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a CEELT II and the Royal Society of Arts  Diploma for Oversees Teachers of English (3 distinctions) from the University of Cambridge. 
 
Maria has been a practising English Language Teacher since 1992. She has worked in a variety of Foreign Language Schools. In 2005 she actively started training teachers for the QLS schools and went on to work for Publishing houses and later on for her own company. Since 2013 Maria is the owner and managing director of Input on Education (IoE)  a company which specializes in educational management and academic support for foreign language schools. In 2016 Maria started Input for Teachers a branch of Input on Education which helps teachers build a strong portfolio and CV via training and provides teacher placement services. 
 
 In her career, Maria Sachpazian has led many seminars and presentations for TESOL Macedonia-Thrace, PALSO NORTHERN GREECE (as well as many other PALSO organizations all over Greece), EUROPALSO, IATEFL, IATEFL Poland, IATEFL-BETA Bulgaria. She was the winner of the IATEFL Leadership and Management Special Interest Group scholarship for 2017 for her session entitled Cognitive distortions and the LTO Manager, which was presented in Glasgow in April 2017. 
 
Maria has been a member of TESOL MACEDONIA – THRACE, NORHTERN GREECE, since before she started teaching actively. She is the current chairperson of TESOL Macedonia-Thrace, Northern Greece and before that she had server on three different boards of TESOL MACEDONIA – THRACE, NORTHERN GREECE as Secretary General (1997-99, 1999-2001) and as Vice Chair (2005-2007).  
 
Maria has published teaching materials with McMillan, Burlington Books and Pearson Longman. She is currently an external teacher trainer for Oxford University Press.
