Research at the Psychology Department

Our group conducts cross-cutting, basic and applied behavioural research that is concerned with emerging societal challenges, spanning from healthy ageing to threats to public health, and environmental sustainability. We are committed to disseminate our findings to the scientific community through research articles, books, and conference presentations, as well as to the wider community through public open lectures, seminars and workshops, related to our research projects.

We maintain close collaborations with leading academic and industrial partners in Greece and internationally, and have a long tradition on interdisciplinary research involving doctors, computer scientists, sociologists, sports and exercise scientists, business administration experts, and policy-makers. Having a clear focus on research-led teaching, we continuously update the curriculum with novel findings derived from our current projects. Most of our projects are hosted by SEERC, which is the research centre of CITY College.
