Induction Week 2013 in Thessaloniki

The Induction Week traditionally marked the start of the new academic year at the main campus of the International Faculty in Thessaloniki, 7-11 October 2013.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from all levels and departments participated in the induction week sessions and activities which included faculty welcomes, introduction to academic activities, procedures and regulations, chance to meet the professors and fellow-students, presentation the Information & Learning Commons (ILC) facility and the overall learning environment, presentation of this year's student clubs and societies and social events. The Induction Week concluded successfully with an interesting presentation of student clubs and activities by the Department of Student and Alumni Affairs. On the same the Department organised a student mixer buffet and a welcome party that gave all students the opportunity to socialise and have fun.

The Induction Week is held to orient and welcome students and help them settle in before the official commencement of classes.

Both students and staff enjoyed the induction week's activities which always is the best way to start the academic year.
