Induction Week 2021 – Welcoming our students back to our campus!

A very warm welcome awaited all new and returning students at the re-opening of our campus during Induction Week 2021 at our main campus in Thessaloniki.

This year’s Induction was a very special one, as we welcomed the very first cohort of first-year students who will be attending University of York undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at CITY College, University of York Europe Campus. Professor Charlie Jeffery, Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of York sent a warm welcome message to our first-year students with a video.

With safety measures implemented across our campus, the Induction Week introduced our undergraduate and postgraduate students to CITY College and prepare them for the academic year ahead. Students participated in welcome sessions, team building activities, meetings with personal tutors and information sessions so as to have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the new academic environment and discover the facilities, the Library (ILC) and the academic and professional opportunities which are available to them.

Both students and staff enjoyed the induction week’s activities which always are the best way to start the academic year.
