On Friday, 23 March 2018, a one-day seminar was delivered by Nielsen, a world’s leading provider of marketing information, audience measurement, and business media products and services.

The seminar entitled "Transform Data to Action," included also a 3-hour hands-on workshop, during which Nielsen Group Account Manager Mrs. Vivi Papadopoulou explained, discussed, and applied along with the participants the methodology that Nielsen follows in analysing retail data and the consultation it provides to its clients in how to strategically move in the future.

The participants, Level 3 Marketing students, thoroughly enjoyed it and learned how to handle such data and the significance it provides in drafting future success stories in the industry.

The Business Administration and Economics Department and all the participants would like to express their sincere gratitude to Ms. Papadopoulou for taking the time, coming all the way from Athens, and spending an entire day with the students, some of whom referred to the seminar/workshop as the most insightful they have ever participated in.

Staff from the Business Administration and Economics Department stated: "We hope that this is the start of a very good cooperation with Nielsen and we look forward to more such future events that add invaluable knowledge and skills to the students learning experience."
