The two day conference brought together leading public policymakers, businesspeople, academics, media and cultural figures from both countries – all experts in their field - to debate current global, regional and bilateral issues and trends, and create networking opportunities. The forum’s themes included change in Europe; security; reform; growth; and the future of bilateral relations, including trade and investment and human mobility.

The Symposium concluded with suggested solutions on contemporary issues, generated new ideas, and promoted constructive dialogue between the two countries.
