The Deputy Head of Mission of the British Embassy in Bulgaria at the MBA Induction in Sofia

Ms. Sarah Riley, Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Bulgaria addressed a short welcome speech to our MBA students in Sofia on the Induction that marked the beginning of academic year 2016-17 for our Executive MBA programme in Bulgaria. The Induction took place on 3 November 2016 at Best Western Expo hotel in Sofia with. Dr. Leslie Szamosi, Academic Director of the programme opening the ceremony and welcoming students followed by Ms. Riley who gave a short inspirational talk being a University of Sheffield graduate herself. Later on, Mr. Ruslan Papazyan, who is also an Alumnus of The University of Sheffield, gave some hints to the new students on how to effectively combine and balance between their personal life, careers and their studies. Then Dr. Szamosi took over and continued the Induction with interesting activities aiming at helping students to get to know each other.

After the Induction MBA students in Sofia attended the first unit of the course. The induction day is designed to provide a gateway to the MBA programme and prepare students for their studies.
