Dr Dimitrios Nikolaidis participated with an insightful speech in the ‘Financial Forum Innovation’ that took place in Sofia, Bulgaria on 14 June 2016 at the Sheraton Hotel.

In his presentation, entitled “Services Optimization Through Innovation as a Competitive Advantage for Banks”, Dr Nikolaidis underpinned the impact of the individual on any type of innovation and discussed the elements of reliability, empathy, assurance and responsiveness and their influence in service quality and customer satisfaction. “The people are as a key factor to build a corporate culture which will lead to sustainable development” he said.

Except for Dr Nikolaidis, the event’s panel comprised a number of distinguished speakers, namely: Nina Stoyanova, Deputy Governor in charge of the Banking Department and the Fiscal Services Department and member of the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank, Peter Andronov, Country Manager of KBC group for Bulgaria, Chairman of the MB of CIBANK, CEO of CIBANK, Chairman of the Managing Board of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria, Petia Dimitrova, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board of Postbank, Levon Hampartzoumian, CEO and Chairman of the Managing Board of UniCredit Bulbank and Iravan Hira, General Manager, Hewlett-Packard Bulgaria.
