Overwhelming talk on Marketing and Emotional Intelligence by Dr Dimitriadis

Dr Nikolaos Dimtriadis, Director of the Executive Development Institute (EDI) delivered with great success an insightful presentation on ‘Marketing and Emotional Intelligence’ on 13 April 2016 in Thessaloniki. The event, which drew a full house, was organised by the TEI Marketing Club at the Municipality of Thessaloniki and was supported by the International Faculty.

Dr Nikolaos Dimtriadis, Director of the Executive Development Institute (EDI) delivered a presentation on ‘Marketing and Emotional Intelligence’

In his speech Dr Dimitriadis discussed how the human brain functions and the factors that influence the decision-making process. “In the business context businesses should connect with their customers’ brain and make a promise which will make them stand out from competitors. Successful corporations are the ones that focus on ‘empathy’, offer to their customers what they really need. They analyse and empower three kinds of empathy: cognitive, emotional and compassionate. Putting value on people and creativity is the key” he commented.

The event attracted many entrepreneurs as we as university students who found Dr. Dimitriadis’ presentation particularly inspiring.
