Congratulations Dr Dautov!

The International Faculty is pleased to congratulate Rustem Dautov, on successfully defending and receiving his PhD degree on ‘An ontology-driven adaptation framework for self-management in cloud application platforms’The International Faculty is pleased to congratulate Rustem Dautov, on successfully defending and receiving his PhD degree on ‘EXCLAIM framework: a monitoring and analysis framework to support self-governance in cloud application platforms’. Warm congratulations also go to his supervisors, Dr Iraklis Paraskakis and Dr Mike Stannett for their great work and support as well as Rustem’s examiners, namely, Dr Steffen Zschaler and Dr Dimitris Dranidis, for their thorough work.

Rustem Dautov holds an MSc (Distinction) in Computing Science from Newcastle University (Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK) and a BSc (Distinction) in Automation and Control Systems from Kazan State Technological University (Kazan, Russia). Before joining SEERC as a Research Associate under the Marie Curie Initial Training Network 'RELATE' in 2012, he had worked in the software industry in Russia for several years.

His research interests are in the areas of Service-Oriented and Cloud Computing, Autonomic Computing, Semantic Web, Big Data and Internet of Things. His PhD research focuses on the application of the Semantic Sensor Web technologies to create a data monitoring and analysis framework to support self-governance in cloud application platforms delivering a reliable Internet of Services.
