Strategic collaboration between the International Faculty and Domotel

CITY College, International Faculty of the University of Sheffield happily announces the beginning of cooperation with Domotel Hotels & Resorts, one of Greece’s largest luxury hotel chains. Through this collaboration the two parties aim at developing a framework of educational activities, offering students access to the labour market of the tourism sector and bringing the academia closer to industry.

In the frame of this newly established collaboration, building on the academic knowledge offered by the International Faculty in the field of tourism and the expertise and experience of Domotel, students and graduates of our postgraduate programme MSc in Management (Tourism and Leisure Management) will be offered internships and employment opportunities in the hotels of the chain. In addition, executives from Domotel will contribute to the programme’s lectures while at the same time they will act as mentors to the programme’s students and graduates and guide those who will choose Domotel case studies as their dissertation topic.

Through their collaboration CITY College and Domotel aspire to train highly qualified professionals, qualify them with theoretical and practical skills, and prepared them to enter the sector of tourism and develop a successful career.
