The Boris Trajkovski Scholarship Award Ceremony 2015 in Skopje

On the first week of October 2015, the twenty Boris Trajkovski scholarship recipients were awarded their MBA scholarship during the Award Ceremony held in Skopje by Dr Gjorgje Ivanov, the President of the country. It is the sixth consecutive year for the Boris Trajkovksi Scholarships to be offered and provide the opportunity to scholars to study for the University of Sheffield Executive MBA degree offered by the University’s International Faculty CITY College in Thessaloniki.

The ceremony took place at Villa Vodno, the presidential house, in Skopje with Mr. Yannis Ververidis, Principal of the International Faculty and Mr. George Efstathiadis, Director of the Executive MBA programme representing the University of Sheffield International Faculty as well as Mr. Spiro Ristovski, Deputy Minister of Education and Science.

Offered since 1993, the Executive MBA programme has alumni who hold important management and governmental positions in the country. The Boris Trajkovski Scholarship is an initiative that started in 2001 - honouring the memory of the late President, Boris Trajkovski - and is continued and supported by the current President Dr Gjorge Ivanov.

The scholarships are co-funded with bilateral agreement by the Government (Ministry of Education and Science) and the University of Sheffield International Faculty aiming at promoting executive education excellence and providing top managers of the country with the opportunity to obtain cost-free education from one of the world’s top universities, the University of Sheffield.
