Congratulations Dr Panagiotidou!

Congratulations are in order for PhD candidate, Ms Despoina Panagiotidou, who has been awarded her PhD after successful defense of her thesis on "Visual Attention and Emotion: the deleterious effect of ignoring an object in the subsequent emotional evaluation".   

Supervised by Dr Ana Vivas, Head of our Psychology Department and Dr Tom Stafford from the Psychology Department at the University of Sheffield, UK, her PhD was focused on the distractor devaluation effect of selective attention.

Despoina completed her bachelors studies at our Psychology Department before continuing with her PhD.
