"Retailing is Detailing", "Logical Thinking", "FIFO - First In First Out", "Routine is a prerequisite for mistakes"... These are just a few of the many things Mr. Alexander Talyokov, Billa Logistics Manager, shared with our students in Sofia during the insightful company visit.
The company visit was organised as part of Management, Organizational Behaviour, Marketing, and Logistics units attended by the students. All students were impressed by the numerous processes taking place in such a large logistics base. The insights provided were very useful and made it easier for the students to put the theory into practice.
Billa opened its first supermarket in Bulgaria in 2000 and has since then expanded to cover 35 Bulgarian cities, operating a total of 88 supermarkets.
The Business Administration and Economics Department of the International Faculty warmly thanks Mr. Alexander Talyokov and Mr.Vladislav Marinov for their help in the organization of this company visit.
